San Antonio Here We Come!

It’s already that time again! Ballard & Ballard is making preparations to head to the next IJO gem show in San Antonio Texas next month! What is IJO? Why are you going to Texas? What even is this gem show? Find out more down below!

Every year IJO (The Independent Jewelers Organization)  puts on two, multi-day conventions in different cities across the world to help small jewelers find new products to fill their showrooms with!

Every convention includes a special area referred to as, “The Buying Room” where different jewelry manufacturers & companies bring products for local jewelers to purchase & place in their showrooms!

These IJO shows are the place to be when it comes to new products and popular trends. Many different companies bring their products to these shows to give smaller jewelers the chance to be on the front lines of what’s selling!

Not only is this the next big show to attend, but it’s a milestone for both IJO and Ballard & Ballard!

With IJO being in business for 50 years, and our store being with them for the 25th year in a row, we are all about celebrating these milestones!

Currently Guy & Christy are making the preparations needed to head to San Antonio next month to see what new trends or products they can find. Why does this affect you? It means pretty soon we’re going to have some amazing new pieces to check out!
